The Republican caucuses in North Dakota were won by Trump.

President Donald Trump successfully defeated former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley in the Republican caucuses held in North Dakota on Monday.

This triumph marks yet another victory for Trump on his route toward the candidacy of the Republican Party for president.

This was the final event before Super Tuesday, which was the day on the schedule for presidential nominations in 2024 that had the most delegates at risk. The race took place in North Dakota.

However, Haley has received other delegates from the early voting states, despite the fact that she has only won one Republican nomination contest thus far, which was held in Washington, District of Columbia.

If he receives at least sixty percent of the vote in North Dakota, then Trump will be awarded all 29 of the state's Republican delegates. In the event that he does not, the delegates will be distributed to him and Haley in a proportional manner based on the results of the final vote in the state.

On March 30, the Democratic Party of North Dakota will have a primary election for the presidency.

A total of 865 delegates, which is equivalent to 36 percent of all the delegates in the race, will be up for grabs in over a dozen states on Tuesday.

Before the Republican National Convention, which will take place this summer, the nominee will be the candidate who secures the consent of the majority of the party's delegates, which is 1,215 out of a total of 2,429 delegates.
